How to pick a gift for a veteran
The best veteran gifts say thank you without making a speech. Pick something they will actually wear or put out on the porch, not something that sits in a drawer.
A patriotic shirt or hoodie gets worn to the hardware store and the cookout. A garden flag says it to the whole street. And if you want a gift nobody else can buy, put their name on a hat.
