The spider and the web are made by two different mills, which is why nobody sells them as a pair. We buy both and send them in one parcel. You open one box and the costume is finished — no second tracking number, no piece that turns up on the 2nd of November.

What you get
A Web to Pull On, a Spider to Strap On.
The poncho goes over your head and the sleeves open into a web when you put your arms out. The spider sits between your pet's shoulders and is held by a band on its underside. Furry has a long-haired body; Smooth has a flat body with furry legs only.

Sizing
Your Half Is One Size. Theirs Has Two.
The poncho is one size and hangs loose over whatever you wear. For the spider, pick by how big your pet is.
1 · Cats and small dogs take S
S is the smaller spider, 60 g. It is the size photographed on a cat.
2 · Bigger dogs take M
M is the same spider at roughly double the weight, 120 g, so it covers more of the back and still looks in proportion.

The mill publishes the weight of each size but not the length of the fastening band. We have asked for it. Until it arrives, use the weights: if your dog is bigger than a small breed, take M.

It Is a Photo Costume.
A plush spider on a pet's back is for the walk and the photograph, not the afternoon. Some cats ignore it and some shake it off in a minute, and a heavy cat is more likely to be the second kind. Put it on, take the picture, take it off. It is not a harness and it is not waterproof.
