One Zip From Ankle to Chin.
The zip runs the full length, so you can get it onto a child who does not want to be dressed. The hood carries the character — ears, horns, petals or a skull — and is sewn on, so it cannot be lost. The legs and sleeves are closed and full length.

The honest answer
Flannel, and It Is Warm.
This is a 100% polyester flannel romper, which is the point in late October — but it is warm. Indoors in a heated room a toddler will be hot in it. There are no feet and no mittens, so socks and shoes are yours. It is a costume and loungewear, not flame-resistant sleepwear, and should not be used as sleepwear.

The legs and sleeves are closed at the ankle and wrist, but there are no built-in booties or mitts. Socks and shoes go on as normal.

The questions people actually ask
Which size for a one-year-old?
Measure instead: most one-year-olds are 70–80 cm, which is size 90. Age is not reliable at this stage.
Does the hood come off?
No, it is sewn on — which also means it cannot be lost on the way home.
Can they wear clothes underneath?
A vest or a long-sleeve body fits under it. A full outfit underneath will be too warm.
Is it sleepwear?
No. It is a costume and loungewear, and it is not flame-resistant sleepwear.
Is it warm enough for trick-or-treating?
It is flannel with a hood and closed legs and sleeves, so for most of the US it is warm enough on its own.
